January is a month rich in exhibitions! In late January, we visited the largest international exhibition of confectionery and snacks – ISM 2019 (International Sweets and Biscuits Fair). The ISM 2019 exhibition was held from 27 to 30 January in the city of Cologne, Germany.

This exhibition has been held in Cologne every year since 1971. Every year more than a thousand companies demonstrate their sweet products, as well as the technology of its production. ISM is an international platform for communication between suppliers and large customers. ISM is a bridge connecting different countries, different tastes and allowing you to find the best and most interesting products from around the world.

In addition to the colorful and large-scale stands, the exhibition included a series of open seminars at which they discussed confectionery production technologies using alternative ingredients of sugar from plant origin, as well as interesting cooking shows, during which you had the opportunity to get acquainted with the production process of various sweets in a relaxed atmosphere.

At ISM was presented an immense number of diverse and tasty new products. This exhibition is real art, which literally changes the way food is presented, presenting something that even it was impossible to imagine.

During that short period of time while the exhibition lasts, we managed not only to meet and talk with our long-standing European partners personally, but also to acquire new promising contacts.
