In 2018, Baltrading Company began its cooperation with food producers from Latvia. As part of the launch of the product distribution project from Latvia on the territory of the Russian Federation, Baltrading organized the Days of Latvia in Stockmann, which took place from March 20 to March 31, 2019.

During the campaign, Stockmann’s customers were able to get acquainted with a wide assortment of Latvian products, as well as take part in tasting new Latvian goods, and therefore Latvian products found their popularity among residents of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Kazan. Stockmann’s customers praised the quality of Latvian goods.

In early August 2019, working meetings were held with Latvian manufacturers. The following companies participated in the meetings:

• Skriveru
• Ramkalni
• Zaķumuiža

The concept of the meetings was to discuss the distribution strategy of Latvian goods in the Russian Federation in 2020. Also, during meetings with manufacturers, future production volumes and breading new items in the assortment were discussed. In addition, during the trip, meetings were held with new manufacturers who are interested in the possibility of entering the Russian market.
